你好！欢迎大家和我们一起学习HSK4. 今天我们一起学习两个词，往往和经常。 1. 这两个词都可以做副词adv. ，用来表示一种情况多次出现。但是“往往”通常用来表示根据过去的经验，对到目前为止出现的情况的总结，有一定的规律性。所以它只能用于已经发生的情况。例如： 得不到关爱的孩子往往对别人也很冷淡。 地震发生前夕，某些动物往往会有异常的反应。 而“经常”既可以表示以过去，可以表示现在或者还没有发生过但可能多次出现的情况。比如： 这个城市的航班很多，天气又多变，所以飞机经常晚点。 父母们应该经常陪伴孩子，多和他们沟通，才能更好地了解和帮助他们。 2. “往往”多表示重复出现的情况有一定的规律性，用“往往”的时候，句子中要说明重复出现这种情况的其他情况、条件和结果。“经常”只是说明重复出现的某种情况或动作行为，不一定有规律性，所以不受其他情况、条件的限制。比如： 我老公往往/经常周末要...

Laoshi, if there is a sentence that father has same height as son or other sentences like this , which subject should we put before?
ahh thank you. I thought I was going crazy. I learned somewhere about 比較 + adjective being used as "more" but I kept seeing it used as "rather""quite" instead. and everytime I tried to use 比較, the former way, it was always changed to 更 by native speakers。
Isn’t “服务员对我很热情” a preposition here? The same as “对 + someone + verb phrase/adjective phrase”? Or are you suggesting it is a verb here? Wouldn’t the verb usage “to treat” be more like “你怎么对人家，人家就怎么对你。”
